Resin Art Class
Join us for a fun and creative afternoon at our resin workshop down in Biggera Waters. In our classes, you will learn the basics about resin, techniques to create patterns and designs, how to safely use the product, and tips and tricks to take home with you.
Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process of mixing, pouring, designing and executing your very own resin serving board.

Although you will be busy bringing your creation to life, you are welcome to bring your favorite beverage and snacks to enjoy a relaxing evening with friends while you create your one-of-a-kind resin masterpieces. This class is perfect for anyone looking to try something new, tap into their creative side, and have a great time while doing it.
No prior experience is necessary.
Whats included in our classes
What is included on the day;
- custom made serving board
- Ice Epoxy Ice Thin resin
- Mixing cups and mixing sticks
- your choice of ALL pigment powders, paste and inks.
- Personal Protective Equipment
- snacks and nibbles
- 2 hours with experienced resin artist
When cured, our team will lightly sand and oil your board before collection. please note, we estimate 48 hours until your unique creation will be ready to take home. These products are food safe and able to be used when home. These are a great show pieces you can bring out at every event and be proud of your work.
Suitable for adults, and kids, adult must accompany any attending
kids under 16.
Serving Board Lichtenberg Fractal Figures
Vulcancraftmanship
Here at Vulcan Craftsmanship, we specialize in the art of Lichtenberg. This is also known as fractal burning, which is the process of delivering thousands of volts of electricity through each piece to create a bolt-like figure. This process is EXTREMELY dangerous and multiple precautionary measures are taken to ensure safety is the number one priority at all times.
With each piece having its own grain, shape and colour, our wood is cut to complement these traits. The rough size of this Camphor Laurel serving board is 170mmx380mmx20mm.
Peacock Green Pigment
Our boards have been carefully selected, sanded, cut, then electrocuted until a red bolt of electricity fills the board. Resin is then poured into the cracks as it slowly covered the whole board with a bright, vibrant pigment. In the 5 days it takes to completely harden, the resin seeps into every crack filling any void which results in a unique and eye-catching design. Each board passes a 6 step sanding process until the resin is flush against the wood and glowing with colour.
For a safe, tough finish, our boards take a swim in our mineral baths and left to soak in the oils overnight. The boards are then wiped down, and coated in Vulcans Beeswax Board Conditioner before it's buffed off and ready for delivery.
